Noel Tock will talk about how to grow with WordPress

WordPress has created many opportunities for people all around the world, so many people are curious about how it could help them grow. In his talk “Moving forward in WordPress“, Noel will discuss the path to success for anyone interested in working with WordPress, remote working or generally being part of this movement.

Noel is one of the three partners at Human Made, a WordPress.com VIP Partner and a recognized WordPress agency that has no offices whatsoever. People of Human Made work remotely and that’s one of the reasons we wanted to talk with Noel about today’s world and the opportunities it can give us. But before we begin, Noel, can you tell us more about yourself?

Noel is a digital nomad and one of the three partners at Human Made where he oversees products

What I enjoy doing, is also what I do for a living; building things online. As one of the three partners at Human Made (a WordPress.com VIP Partner), I oversee product. In this case, everything from Happytables, Nomadbase to startup partnerships such as United Influencers. If web projects and products have a lifetime of A to Z, I’m often in the A-B role; getting people behind a big idea, finding the right way to tackle a problem or contributing to the development of the early versions.

How you started working with WordPress?

I started building things online mostly through online gaming (as a hobby; web, 3D, design). I spent a number of years working in banking, but as a result of my nighttime hobby, I started getting more involved in web development. One thing lead to the next, and before you knew it, I had a WordPress theme shop. My hobby became my profession at that point.

Media continually celebrates big startup success and its sets the wrong ideas about what success is (and isn’t). I’ll share practical and real advice for people looking to get into WordPress as a career, or grow their current position having already used WordPress. Building websites and working remotely is within reach of anyone who is ready to put the right amount of effort in. In short, let’s talk about how your idea or business is going to grow in the next year.

Any final thoughts?
